Exchange City

Angelico, Patron Saint of the Arts must have held forum with John Baptist de la Salle (Patron Saint of Teachers), Thomas Aquinas (Patron Saint of philosophers, scholars and students) and also Vitus (Patron Saint of actors, comedians and dancers) during the day my son attended the fantastic pseudo-world of adulthood located in Exchange City.

Exchange City "is a remarkable hands-on economics learning experience for Middle and High School students. The program combines an exciting classroom curriculum with a life-size, state-of-the-art city, run by students. Exchange City lets students apply and reinforce lessons learned in the classroom, in a real-world setting."

Kind of what I just said in the first paragraph, only I copied that paragraph from the official website... I believe thier "sell" for "E.C." is a little more on the "professional" side -- I, am just a mere critic ;-)

I cannot post too many of my photographs from my venture there since there are many laws about children, photography, the web, running with scissors, etc etc though I will share a photo of my son and his friend who enjoyed a fantastic field trip which was "a very fun learning experience that taught me many true experiences about life." - quote from my son, age 12

Now who can boast that sort of compliment I ask you? The lucky staff at Exchange City, that's who!

I swear I did not try to rhyme that on purpose!
